Solar Array
The 1.6 kWh solar array is a series of 7 panels generating 230 watts each per hour of sunlight at peak production.
The system is predicted to produce about 1,460 kWh per year, which will offset about 1.57 tons of carbon annually, or about the equivalent of 47 trees cleansing the air for one year.
The panels feed directly into the building's energy grid, so no battery storage is needed, and no power is lost in distance transmission.
