Window Design
More than 75% of the occupied spaces of the building have access to natural light, yet surprisingly, less than 25% of the building surface is used for either windows or doors. This reduces drafts and potential energy loss.
Careful design such as the placement of windows and the use of "borrow lights" to bring exterior light into interior rooms makes the building feel open and airy while maximizing energy efficiency.
