Mr. Patrick McKee is Eastern Kentucky University's Sustainability Manager, overseeing the Office of Sustainability and strategic sustainability initiatives of the University.  

Mr. McKee spearheaded the launch of the Office of Sustainability in August, 2015 and is responsible for the development and execution of EKU's Strategic Sustainability Plan, Climate Action & Resiliency Plan, and serves as an adjunct faculty member, teaching ENV200: The Sustainable Global Future.

In his 5+ years of career experience, McKee has been responsible for implementing sustainable practices at a Fortune 250 company, a multinational manufacturing corporation, and two Universities.

In 2014, while working for Legrand, North America, he was recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Energy for his work in leading the "Legrand Energy Marathon," a 26.2-day energy savings competition between 26 locations of the Legrand corporation which saved 588,540 kWh of electricity and about $47,000 during the contest. 

Mr. McKee holds a B.S. degree in biology from Mount Aloysius College, in Cresson, Pennsylvania and a M.S. degree in environmental science and management from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsyslvania. McKee became a member of the Colonel family in August 2015.
